It should not matter from a servo perspective, but what was the reason you swapped out the BiBoard that came with the Bittle X robot and put in a NyBoard (normally found in the Bittle Stem Kit)? For some purposes, the BiBoard is the right choice (See here). As to the servo problem, a video showing the behavior of each servo (say starting from the "Stand" position, using the Skill Composer applet in the Petoi Desktop App) would be helpful to understand what you are seeing.

I try to keep things simple (and my robot light weight) so I have not done anything like what you describe but others have. Hopefully, they can give you some insights. I do think that creating another post may be confusing since it seems you are extending the existing topic rather than create a new / different topic.

Regarding the PC, that is really odd but, since you're not wanting to use a PC, it's certainly not worth investigating. So,✔️ ! I can't speak to the Mac bit but I hear you regarding the Captcha! Glad that VisualHere is working for you! Keep us posted!

Say, it just occurred to me. What Bluetooth protocol are you trying to use between your computer (Mac, Win PC, Linux) and the BiBoard? As indicated in my post (link above), my experience is with Bluetooth Classic Serial Port Profile (SPP) - a simple over-the-air serial communication. However, you may be trying to use the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) with Generic Attribute (GATT) Profile which is a client-server arrangement. The BiBoard with ESP32 chip running OpenCatEsp32 supports both. SPP works great and fits my use case (controlling Bittle from software I wrote on my laptop). BLE is more complicated and doesn't fit my use case so I have not tried it.

You mentioned difficulty with Windows 11 and that I can check because I have access to both a Windows 10 PC and a Windows 11 PC. So, I just grabbed the Win 11 laptop and paired my Bittle BiBoard with that laptop. As usual, the hard part is getting the initial pairing (which is a whole other topic we can discuss). Once paired though, I was able to communicate with the BBoard, via Bluetooth SPP, using the Win 11 laptop. I then did both a warm reboot and a cold (complete power off) reboot of the laptop (and power cycled the BiBoard) and each time the pairing persisted as did the ability to connect to the BiBoard. Unfortunately, I don't have access to a Mac but, regarding Windows, we [you, me, @Rongzhong Li ] could have a web meeting (assuming @Rongzhong Li agrees to set it up) to see what we are doing differently in that OS and then document the details of what works and what doesn't work. Of course, if you really need things to work using a Mac then that is not going to help you (though this link might be useful). Just a thought. 😎

I don't have access to a Mac so I can't speak to that but on my Windows 10 laptop and my Bittle with BiBoard V0, I have found that once the BiBoard is paired, it stays paired and I can connect to reliably. I'd love to know more about the difficulties you have experienced pairing the BiBoard with your PC should you ever want to revisit that approach. Best wishes on your VirtualHere solution!

The "After plug in the Raspberry Pi board" comment is vague. It doesn't say to "plug in from where" but I always assumed it was a battery pack. However, I'll defer to the Petoi folks (@Rongzhong Li) as to what that comment actually means. In the meantime, have you considered controlling your robot via Bluetooth serial communication  (SPP) between a stationary Raspberry Pi board (powered by wall adapter) and the robot? I control my robot that way from my laptop but the same should be possible from a Pi board. See my post for more info.

Sounds like a perpetual power supply (Raspberry Pi powers the BiBoard which powers the Raspberry Pi which .....)! Seriously though, I don't think it is possible to power a Raspberry Pi via the BiBoard (which normally gets its power from the battery port). Are you referring to use case where you connect the Raspberry Pi serial port to the BiBoard (see https://docs.petoi.com/apis/raspberry-pi-serial-port-as-an-interface and https://docs.petoi.com/apis/raspberry-pi-serial-port-as-an-interface/for-biboard-v1)? I can think of a use case for connecting the USB of the Raspberry Pi to the USB-C of the BiBoard but it is not for delivering power. Instead, it another way to get serial communication between the two devices. What use case are you trying to support?

That is a lot of kit, which is good, but that also makes the number of things you can do very large.  I hope you don't have to use every single purchased item in your project! If you're a beginner, I recommend starting with Bittle X and the Sensor Pack to have the robot respond in various ways to the different sensor inputs.  However, a key question is “what education level are you graduating from?”  The answer will help you decide how you will control the robot. Since I don't know, I'll make three education-level dependent suggestions: * At the lower levels, I advise controlling the robot with “Block Coding”.  For example see https://docs.petoi.com/block-based-programming/petoi-coding-blocks and https://www.petoi.com/pages/free-quadruped-robotics-curriculum-scratch-coding. * At the middle levels, robot control with Python is better.  For example, see https://segunakinyemi.com/blog/stem-workshop-three-levels-of-programming-petoi-bittle/ * At the upper levels, I recommend using C++.  For example, see https://www.petoi.com/pages/free-cplusplus-quadruped-robotics-curriculum Exactly what you do with the robot is up to you because it is your project. Can't speak to most of your questions except to say that USB-to-USB is your best bet since that gives you access to the bootloader on the BiBoard. I'm curious though, what's your use case - why would you like the attached Raspi to be able to replace the code on the robot?
