This is the current situation for my cat: • I set the master switch to Ar • I reinstalled raspian, configured everything and redownloaded the git file to the raspberry • ssh into the raspberry is successful • I can sent from ard.Serial.py the kcr command and Nybble reacts! (yes!!) • When I start the Flask server developed by @leukipp I cann acess the web page but if I click on one of the three buttons in the upper left corner, nothing happens... Any ideas?

Unfortunately this did not solve it for me. Any other suggestions how I can check why the Serial Interface is not working? I have Interface Shell set to No and Serial Port Hardware set to Yes. The Pi is set as the master device on the Nybble PCB as well. Is that correct? ANY IDEAS? @Rongzhong Li @leukipp

@leukipp how can I solve this? does this mean I need to change some settings or is there an automatic timeout after some time?

@leukipp I just checked again with Chrome and Firefox as I did last time. Now for some reason it works with both browsers. Did you make some changes?

Hi! unfortunately the site does not respond on my browsers that I tried this. Disabled adblock, and anti-scripts as well, no results. I can see the three icons in the upper left corner but just no reactions when I click on them unfortunately. Any ideas?

@Rongzhong Li just to confirm, when you write "plug in the ftdi uploader" you mean connecting the wire from FTD to the GPIO pin, correctly?

I fixed the error by including the first two lines in the script #!/usr/local/bin/python # coding: latin-1 also if someone else wants to try this: You need to change on (now) line 48 choice = input("Wait for 3 seconds. Ready? (Y/n): ") to choice = raw_input("Wait for 3 seconds. Ready? (Y/n): ") and on line (now) 50 the same. However @Rongzhong Li, unfortunately the ouput list is empty []. Any ideas? I am thinking that the harware is not correctly wired, but that should really not be the case

@Rongzhong Li Yes. I have done all of the steps successfully. I installed all packages and can also successfully connect to the Raspi via ssh. Just the next step after finishing the instructions is not clear to me. Somewhere from I need to get the command console to send commands? when I try to just start ./arduino, then I get an error message regarding java splash screen.

@Rongzhong Li Thanks for the answer. FTDI connection is plugged out already. Instead I have soldered the GPIO pin from the Pi directly to the DTR connector on the Arduino board. When I am logged in to the Pi via SSH I cd into ArdSerial. Then when I try to run the command "./ardSerial.py kcr" I get the error message from the orginal post. Any ideas?

How do I do this? From the shell of the Raspberry or from my normal laptop who is also in the network. Not sure what commands to use. can you please elaborate further?

Thanks for replying. this fixed my issue. it is important to give chmod +x permissions to all files within /bin, so the command that worked for me was: sudo chmod -R +x /filepathtoabovebinfolder/ bin
