... it keeps spinning it's head around more than 360 degrees! :-| I've assembled the kit, did the calibration using a 2A bench power supply and then tried different batteries. 1. GensAce LiPo 1300mAh 25C - https://www.gensace.de/gens-ace-1300mah-7-4v-25c-2s1p-lipo-battery-pack.html It responds to some simple commands like "hi", but then goes crazy for most of the others, like in then "protected 14500 batteries" video and then it crashes (does not respond to any other command). But this is a 25C battery, so clearly it's a different issue. So I took an oscilloscope to graph the voltage across different points. Battery voltage itself remains strong at all time. 5V electronics regulator seems also stable. But the servo regulator goes crazy between 1V - 5.5V. I've also tried adjusting the pot for 5V and 6V. No luck, I declared failure. 2. SoShine LiFePo4 18650 - http://www.soshine.com.cn/a31.aspx Although it has a 3A-5A discharghe protection, this one behaved a little better but it still the cat goes crazy. But because the voltage is more acceptable for servos (6.4V) I did a bypass with SW3 jumper on V2 board. This was the first success, the cat was alive! The problem is the battery holder was a little too big and interfered with the legs. 3. Sony US14500VR2 14500, recommended on the forum. The servo voltage regulator still fails and cat is still possessed by the devil (see attached video). The only option was to also bypass the servo voltage regulator, but the servos heat up and I'm not comfortable with this solution. So please provide a better solution. Is the servo voltage reg on the board defective and can you send a replacement? Should I try a big capacitor (how big)? Can I install a separate voltage reg for servos? Which one? Thanks!
