A video tutorial series for Petoi Coding Block robotics curriculum. Learn to program Petoi Bittle Family coding robot kit with a Scratch-like programming interface. Easy for kids and teenagers to get started with robot programming.
We finally got Bittle assembled and calibrated out of the box, so my daughter could play with him using the remote. Today, we watched the video you included above and followed the instructions to begin learning how to code him. Downloaded the new Mind+ firmware as instructed. Unplugged Bittle and attempted to use the remote, and he won't do anything now. Why?
For the NyBoard, the mind+ firmware disables several modules to focus on block coding. For example, the self-balancing algorithm is disabled, so the robot won't move when you hold it in hand. The infrared remote is also disabled to save programming space. You need to reupload the standard firmware to resume the standard mode.
