    Question about "Step" command.

    在 General Discussions

Is Bittle supposed to move to the side when performing the "Step" command provided by the IR Remote, or is he supposed to stay in one spot?

I'll definitely be doing some more fine-tuning on his joints whenever I get the spare time...

Yes, it was supposed to stay in the same spot. But due to the inconsistency of many factors, such as servo precision, calibration, angle sensor, spring tightness, and friction, it gradually shifts to one side. When we calibrate it, one out of two would shift. We keep tuning the motion to see if the performance will be more robust.

So is it possible for me to achieve perfection if I keep working with fine-tuning his servos?

@Ninten110 (Laila) First make sure the calibration is good. Then you can slide the battery as a tunable mass. You can also attach some lead weights to find the balancing point.
