What I mentioned happened with the BiBoard, and I did have the repeated pop up with the NyBoard as well. Jason is aware of the problem. I searched and found others talking about bluetooth issues on the Mac so it might be a Mac issue they need to fix.

I just posted about this a few days ago. With macOS 13.6.1 I was able to connect the Desktop App with some pinwheeling, but after upgrading to macOS 14.1 it no longer worked. Since then I have found that if I "forget" the device, add it back in and then try it sometimes works that one time. I was using ardSerial.py found in the OpenCat/serialMaster directory on GitHub running in terminal for testing.

Just so everyone knows, I restored my machine and it came up as macOS 13.6.1 and the Desktop app had some pinwheels but did work over bluetooth, but after upgrading to macOS 14,1 it no longer worked at all. In searching around it seems there are a lot of people talking about issues with bluetooth from the newest macOS. My guess is that this is something that needs to get resolved by a fix from Apple. If there is a fix that can be done on the app side is to be soon...

ok, yes, I redownloaded the code with the change you made about 40 minutes ago and the odd behavior has been resolved. Now when I send the kzero command I do need to recalibrate. I am guessing there might be a bug where it does not go into calibration mode after saying yes to reset joint offsets. If there is another way please let me know... Thanks...

So I was able up upload everything just fine. During the first stage with #define MAIN_SKETCH commented out I get to "Reset joint offset?" at first I said no because I figure this would bring it into calibration mode. After I realized it does not go into calibration mode, but you are required to say yes in order for the skills to load. The sounds and improvements on the Calibrate the IMU are great! I go back and uncomment the main sketch but when it's done uploading Bittle jerks into an odd position, the front legs straight down and the read legs bent forward are a 90 degree angle at the lower joint. After any command I try results in very odd movement. My thought it maybe I need to recalibrate, but since saying yes at reset joint offsets doesn't go into calibration I'm not sure how to do it. Any ideas on any of this?

Also, should we be updating things when Arduino says there are updates?

ok, I got it.. I started looking into the library directories and found when I tried to update some of the things to didn't replace what was there but rather added a 2 at the end of a second copy... verifies just fine now.. Thanks.

Yes, I am on 2.0. I used the link you provided above and was on branch 2.0. I switched the board to a few different options and tried to verify with each one, and then switched back to Uno and nothing changed.

I just went in and renamed the Libraries director to Libraries-old. When I started Arduino it created a new empty Libraries directory, but the errors are still the same.

As you can see it's not just one error but different ones. One thought, I did update the libraries and boards, if that could cause a problem..

I downloaded the new version. Renamed my OpenCat directory to OpenCat-old and replaced it with the new version. If I simply to verify I get tons of errors. I switched back to the old OpenCat and everything verifies just fine. Are there other changes that need to be made for the new version?

Just saw this picture and can right off say, it doesn't work like that, trust me I tried. Unplug the programmer from Bittle, so you just have USB to programmer and wifi plugged into programmer, then select the wifi adapter as the board you want to program and it should work. After the wifi adapter is programmed just plug it straight into Bittle and it should work.

first thing is you did not remove "-main" from the opencat folder. Makes all the difference.

I have tried the iPhone app. It come up and says "New version found 1.1.0" if I hit update and then it shows Android_8.5.0.5..._537066738.apk Document - 104.1 MB and open in... It seems like an android update it being tried to be pushed down to the iPhone. I did submit this within TestFlight. Other than that I was able to connect to Bittle just fine and could use the basic options.

Just to be clear, once we have this app there would no longer be a need for the Code & Robots app, correct?

So I figured out that when you install QT Creator on the Mac it looks like it's going to install everything properly but you need to actually make a selection from the list on the right, otherwise you just get the environment but no compilers. After figuring this out the needs kits and other things were there! Also, to get things going select open project and then select the file PetoiControllerQt.pro Next step will be to actually try it!

I installed Qt creator and figured I just go into src and then load up main and that would be the start point but it doesn't seem to work like that. Could someone point me in the right direction to get this compiled?

I tried that and everything else I could think of or come up with searching and nothing worked. I downloaded the source so now I just need to figure out how to compile it... I will let know know...

Did you place the OpenCat folder in the Arduino folder and removed the -mail so the folder is just named "OpenCat." This is normally what causes that type of error since the path isn't right to find the file.
